A big step up from Aerofly Professional Deluxe

An easy install, recognized my controller (transmitter via USB) immediately. Graphics is a big step forward, with smooth animation at maximum frame rate on my 2008 Mac Pro. The basic version that you buy initially doesn’t have as many models as I expected, but enough to get lots of practice while the weather does not favour taking a real model out.

There are a lot of useful options - I find the challenges especially useful - balloon popping, limbo and precision landings. It’s easy to just zoom around with a simulator, but when there’s a specific objective, you quickly learn your limitations.

I expect to upgrade at least to RC7 Professional - it will be good to have better tools to learn helicopters, and a lot more models and landscapes.

There are few model flight simulator choices for Mac flyers - this one meets my needs and I can see my flying skills improving each time I fire it up.
